Retreat and Conference Center Managing Director Lawrence Pentelow
Lawrence Pentelow has served as the managing director at Puslinch, Ontario’s Crieff Hills Community since 2003. Over more than two decades as the leader of the retreat and conference center, he has effectively managed a 25-person staff and accommodations for as many as 150 guests at a time, in addition to overseeing the 250-acre property. Working under the direction of the Maclean Estate Committee Board of Directors, the owners of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, he is in charge of all program development and marketing activities. Lawrence Pentelow is active in all areas of operation at Crieff Hills Community, from administrative duties to the performance of the kitchen staff. He also plays a key role in the development of volunteer initiatives.
Lawrence Pentelow is a youth group leader, family group leader, and elder with the Gale Presbyterian Church. He is also the director of the National Experimental Fund with the Presbyterian Church, and an adult advisor with the Presbyterian Young People’s Society in Toronto and Kingston. His outside interests, meanwhile, include canoeing, scuba diving, and woodworking.
